 Over 48 Years of The Hilltopper

(1977 – 2025)

  In March 1977, the first edition of our church newsletter, The Hilltopper was published.

The first editors were Margaret Harmon and Dot Hammer.

Original Mission (1977)

“The Hilltopper is published monthly by the New Hope United Methodist Church

of New Hope, Virginia. It is written for the expressed purpose of informing

the local parish and community about the activities of the congregation.”
